Windy Creek Grass Fed Beef Prices

There are currently five ways you can order Windy Creek Beef:

Beef by the quarter for $7.00/lb. Quarters range from 100 to 175 lbs of meat, so the total price can range from $700 to $1225. Quarters are much more difficult to split up evenly, so we recommend buying a half with another family instead of buying a quarter. There are no taxes on farm-direct produce. Freezer space required for this volume of meat range from 4.2 to 7.0 square feet. If you have custom cutting instructions we will take them when you call or email to order.

Beef by the half for $5.50/lb. This is a substantial savings compared to a quarter, and much less expensive than buying by the individual cut. Please multiply the weight and freezer space ranges for quarters by 2.

A whole beef for $5.50/lb. Twice as much as a half and requires twice as much freezer space.
Beef prices by the quarter, half or whole are based on hanging weight at the time of slaughter. As the beef hangs in the cooler it will lose some moisture and later much of the fat and bone will be removed, so that the weight of beef that you receive will be less than the hanging weight at slaughter.

Assorted boxed beef. Prices are based on the price for individual cuts as shown below minus a discount. The more you buy the higher the discount over the price of individual cuts. Simply email or call us with a list of the cuts you would like. This type of order is quite often subject to availability.
